WHYBIN/TBWA of Sydney created some gorgeous ads for the Sydney International Food Festival. The concept visually unites food with one of the most common international symbols – flags. So after 11 years of hoofing it around New York and 9 months San Diego shuffling in and out of every car that Enterprise’s More Than a Month Program had to offer, I bought my first new car last week. It was very nice to graduate from the Nissan Versa, Kia Rio, Chevy Silverado and last, but not least the very fuel efficient Hyundai Elantra and into my 2010 Audi A3.

Great design and animation by Jesse Thomas that was presented at AIGA – Baltimore in Feb 2010.

Very nice design by architects Britt Crepain & Stephan Spaens of CSD Architecten. Using a very small footprint (only 50 sqm. – 4×12.5 meters) they take full advantage of the space with this gorgeous split level house in the Center of Antwerp (Belgium). Rocío Martinavarro takes a unique approach in illustrating the invitations for a wedding in Barcelona. The 1075 embossed dots signify the time between when the couple first met to their wedding day.

With Thanksgiving only a couple of days away I thought that the info graphic Weight of the World, a collaboration from Good and Always with Honor in association with Whole Foods, provides a relevant and interesting look at diet and its varying effect on obesity across the globe.
